Ichiro Chen of the Columbus Dragons pitched a complete shutout against the Toledo Mud Hens, scattering 6 hits, striking out 6 and needing only 101 pitches. Chen was very happy and excited after the victory. This really isn't all that note note worthy except it is the first complete game shutout win since Harold Rogers did it in season 4. Harold Rogers also accomplished the feat in season 3. This is only the 3rd Complete Game and 3rd Complete Game Shutout in franchise history.
