1. Rick Post, C, Toledo Mud Hens: We have all discussed this prodigy.

Toledo - After selecting the franchise catcher, some good pen pitching to go with him. Grade A++

2. Sammy James, LF, Louisville Whalers: LF could be a bit of a stretch, but his hitting will stretch a pitcher and the outfield.

32. Sun Lee, 1B, Toronto FivTs: A behemoth hitter although somewhat weak for 1B but adequate.

Physical: B-
Fielding: B-
Hitting: A++

Toronto - Nothing stellar. Grade C-

Analysis: Little Rock spent the most on scouting, was it worth the cost for the return value? I an not sure myself. To me I found, in this draft anyway, my 16-10 split worked better than any other where I had an even split. Toledo's 2-18 split seemed to work well. Las Vegas had a 14-14 split and drafted late and I thought had a very good draft from that position. So, does an uneven high split work better for teams drafting 16 and higher while middle even splits work better for 16 and below? Lets hear your thought in chat!!!

After going through some other drafts with the same scouting I have come to the conclusion that it is a chance deal. I like the idea of seeing mostly college players with the split. The draw back is that you can't trust the scouting on High School players especially blue chip first rounders.
