Senators Sign IFA

The Washington D.C. Senators signed Omar Torrealba for $10.2M. A pitcher with good splits and pitches and decent control. Since it was so close to the draft it was decided to put the youngster in the Rookie league for his first year. It is though he could be a 4th, maybe 5th starter or long reliever. It was reported that USC was trying to recruit him to play football with his laid back attitude but lacked the speed to play linebacker.
