It's The Playoffs

With the first round of the playoffs over and they were a bit exciting. Well, exciting in the fact that there was only one upset in my books at the end. Yes, I expected Austin to beat Las Vegas and I didn't expect Syracuse to win but didn't expect them to get swept either. So, what does the crystal ball say for the all important round 2.

Charleston RiverDogs vs Toronto FivTs - The only advantage I see here is that Toronto is rested. The season series favored Toronto, but several of those games were 1-run affairs that could have went either way. The two played 7 games in a row early but Toronto swept a 3 game away series late. This is the upset favorite as I like the veteran RiverDogs in 5 games especially with the Toronto home field advantage a plus for the RiverDogs.

Las Vegas Aces vs Nashville Hillbillies - These two were tied 5-5 in the series as the Aces won early against the Hillbillies but the last series was a Hillbillies sweep. Expect the Hillbillies to win in four.

Arizona High Heat vs Cheyenne Sandors - Cheyenne won the season series rather handily but this is the playoffs as it could go either way. The crystal ball likes the Heat, I like the Sandors. Throwing out the season series, it is too tough to call in a short series but the Sandors have the advantage.

Honolulu Warriors vs Milwaukee Cervezeros - Another tough series to call. The season series shows the Warriors having trouble in Milwaukee and Milwaukee having trouble in Honolulu. It very well could be a 1-1 split in both parks with the deciding 5th game going to home field advantage.
